People are saying that congress has done less in the last few years than ever before. After careful analysis, I came up with two reasons for this. Congress is such a burden for the President that he just does things on his own with no congressional approval, even in spite of that pesky little document called the Constitution, and Harry Reid has refused to put any bill that he does not agree with in some big room, because the House has sent many bills forward for the Senate to act upon. So, it isnt just Obama who is acting in an imperialistic manner. He has Reid shortstopping the things we would normally see acted upon. This also leaves Obama blameless when it comes to any legislation. Of course there are more reasons than just these two. We have a weak message on the right, too few eloquent congressmen who can clearly articulate a potential path for our future, and too many who are currently serving in Washington are more interested in continued years in office than in serving the constituents.....and this is all on us, the citizen, the voter to correct. Do we have to literally fail in any attempt to hold dear to our Constitutional principles before we wake up and get seriously involved in saving our Republic?
