People are so polarized and reactionary about this issue that most people are reluctant to post anything about it. I generally agree with Sam but I think he misses perhaps the most important causative issues which is big oil geo-politics. I think the actions and/or in-actions of the US, Europe, Saudi Arabia, and all of the other States for whom oil trumps morality should be put as number one on the blame list. Or, at least tied with Israeli - Hamas aggression and intractability. NOTE: DO NOT COMMENT on this post unless you carefully read the entire article. I do not want any rants please.
