People are so quick to refer to Martin Luther King Jr. when discussing injustice and how we should handle it in this country. But yall use his name for a cute quote or to state that we should use more peaceful tactics. The ones yall call leaders are too scared to be how MLK TRULY was. Martin Luther King was a villain in the eye of a lot of media. Was repeatedly called a communist. He wasnt a saint, he was a radical. The FBI harassed him numerous times. This man went to jail a recorded 30 times! Most of yall peacemakers cant fathom jail time. Yall keep trying to make everybody happy when thats not possible. Trying to be nice to the same government thats oppressing you. Then yall act like MLK got shit done because white people liked his peaceful ways. NO! They didnt like him anymore than the next negro. But he wasnt scared to go against the grain and have hate come his way. Hell, it got him killed by his own country. If youre going to refer to MLK refer to the whole MLK. Tired of people leaving out details to fit their cause.
