People asked about my crock pot meals. Here are my easiest 3. Please please post your favorites in the comments and feel free to grab a new one for yourself. I try everything once. One Rule: please only post a tried and true recipe for you without links to long, tedious recipes. Anyone can look stuff up. We want to share easy easy recipes! The recipe Im asked about the most when I make it: Spicy Meatballs w brown rice. Throw a frozen package of meatballs into your crock (turkey or beef), a half jar of grape jelly and a half jar of chili sauce (next to the ketchup). Cook on low 5 hours or high 2.5 hours (very flexible timing). Serve on top of brown rice. The sauce is to die for and everyone will ask you about the sauce. Make this for parties and everyone will add about them. They are so easy. I make 2 packages at a time w a whole jar of jelly and a whole jar of chili sauce. Serve your favorite salad or green veggie w them. Everyone whose gotten gift meals from me have already had these :) Cheesy Chicken and Rice (I double the recipe below) Put raw chicken breasts (3-4 large) in your crock w a can of cream of chicken soup. Cook on high 3-4 hours, low 6-7 until chicken can be forked apart. Fork your chicken until its basically shredded. Add a box of PREPARED Zatarans Yellow Rice, 2 cups of shredded cheese, and a can of corn to the crock of chicken mixture. Stir it up, keep on warm while serving. Serve w broccoli or your favorite green veggie. Easier Pork and Veggies This is so easy AND you can substitute the pork for any meat. Throw a roast (or pork chops or chicken breasts) in the crock pot, doesnt matter the size along w 2-3 beef boullion cubes and enough water to cover the meat. Sprinkle in your favorite seasoning too. Some options are: Steak Seasoning, Taco Seasoning (people seem to love when I use that), Season Salt, Garlic Salt. Cook on high 4-5 hours or low, longer. Heres the magic: an hour or 2 before serving, add a can of carrots, 2 cans of whole potatoes, a can of whole green beans and a can of corn. Omit any you dont like and double can your favorites. This tastes like you made it all fresh. The veggies soak up all the flavor. I use 8 or 9 cans total abd we eat on this for days!!
