People attempting to discredit my sacrifice for this city, on my page, are like cyberbully schoolgirls. To run for office, I left school on a half scholarship, was forced to leave my job in the nonprofit sector, put my self forth for scrutiny, and many other things Ive faced I wont share. At 27, with $2000 in raised funds, I ran a citywide campaign against political giants. I had no connections. Kenny Jervis, I fought for public education tirelessly and was the only candidate willing to challenge the school committee; I dont have any kids in BPS. You and I both know it was hardly a little jaunt. In the end, you can all kill yourselves, Boston. Like, share, quote it, or dont. Im amused and disgusted by your focus on Facebook beef, while Boston remains among the most segregated, stratified, expensive cities in the nation. Get your life, any life, or like Ill repeat to Ms. Montano if provoked again...kill yourself. My gay, poor, black ass made history thus year by showing up in this race and confronting this city with the reality racism and classism in policy. In my hometown, Springfield, we call this real talk. Now, should we continue this or do some necessary work in our communities?
