People beware! I have just had a guy on the phone claiming to be calling on behalf of Virgin Media, BT etc. basically listed most of the main internet providers in the UK. He tried telling me that my computer was uploading lots of corrupt files and viruses to their system, basically trying to frighten me by saying people will go in to my computer steal my files and details and wipe everything. He then went on to try and bully me into letting them go into my computer to sort it out. When I challenged him about this, he became very aggressive. The company was called Global Solutions/services or something like that, defo started with Global. Spoke to a Virgin Media representative who assured me this was NOT ON THEIR BEHALF. This is a SCAM!!! Please share, so no vulnerable or less tech savvy people fall for this! #scammers #virginmedia #fraud #sayno
