People can be full of judgement, especially when someone is dealing with pain. No one wants to be reminded of our fragility, our vulnerability as human beings. People like to hide behind phasades and illusions rather then face intense debilitating facts that could render one immobilized. I choose to be open and express my pain the way I feel it with out trying to hide or minimize it. This costs me allot because I can no longer appear as being fine. No human is fine or immune to reality. The falseness that we have kept up to maintain an appearance of being more then we are is eroding. People are no longer able to hide behind expensive pretentious masks. Being honest and real is a far more valuable and exchangeable currency. What is real and valid and true right now is the uncomfortable reminder that we are all in pain. In trouble and we have no peace of mind. No inner peace and no serenity. We are faced with a barrage of problems because we are so vein and in a race to gain the next better thing. In the 80s we where guilty of this also, and now its a contest to see whom has the most, the better, the rarest stuff and who can show it off as quickly as possible. Perhaps we are not all like this. Certainly, our egos have the first say, then our spirits do.
