People do not think a breathing practice can keep them in good shape until they try a class. Expanding your breath capacity from the inside out means you have to stretch and expand all the contracted tissue you have worked so hard to tighten. People place way to much effort on correct ways of breathing rather than just getting people to actually work their lungs to full capacity. The more you get your lungs expanding fully and letting carbon dioxide out as you exhale, you are constantly refreshing your bodies intake of oxygen and getting rid of toxic build up. Try breathing in 360 degrees from your lower ribs up to the collarbones and top do shoulder blades. With each breath take in a little more air.
