Many Economist will say The president nor Gov controls Gas prices in america. Till isnt actually True.. Has anybody ever wondered Why is it when you buy gas TAX IS ALWAYS INCLUDED There is no Itemized break down. There that word i speak so much about States Tax Gas higher than sales tax. actually Gas is taxed per gallon. In nyc right now the current state tax in 49.9 cents per gallon. with a federal tax of 18.4.. THIS MAKES THE TOTAL TAX PER GALLON TO 68.3... National average for gas is 3.24cents The average gallon of regular sold in nyc is currently 3.50.. SUBTRACT 68.3 Cents equals 2.81 cemts for an actual gallon of gas.. while in nj. total tax is is the 2nd lowest in the country. at 14.5 state 18.4 federal. 32.9 cents per gallon.. While the sate average for a gallon of gas. is 3.10 cents for regular. before tax 2.77 per gallon.. in ga tax is 28.5 equals 46.9 cents per gallon while current average per gallon is 3.21 cents.. again 2.74 cents per gallon... Pa tax is 32.3 cents equals 50.7 cents average gallon is 3.30 cents. equals 2.79 cents.. So when Economist tell me The president nor Gov has control over gas prices. I say thats a misguided Version of the truth.. No our Gov cant make gas 1 dollar a gallon. they cant truly Even make gas 2 dollar a gallons.. Yet they can Change the way its taxed.. .32 to .68 cents per gallon on a 20 gallon tank equals 6 to 13 dollars. im a use myself as an example.. I put 10 dollars in my tank at a time when im on e quals 30 miles to empty.. 10 dollars at 3.53 PREMIUM cents equals 2.83 gallons. is equal to 76 miles or a total of 106 miles to empty.. subtract that 50.7 cents that 3.02 cents.. 10 dollars divided by 3.02 cents 3.31 gallons x 27 mpg. equals 89 miles or 119 ,miles to empty. thats a difference of 13 miles.. which doesnt seem like a lot.. yet on a daily drive to and from work. 13 miles goes a long way.. IN cali tax state gas tax is 53.2 cents az 19 Cents tx 20 cents ne 23 cents ks 25 cents ar 21.8 cents al 20.9 cents fl 35.4 cents wa 37.5 cents People may not agree with my political views.. Yet i do have very valid reasons for my views. I dont Go in dept often. Dont feel i should have to.. Yet If these numbers dont make you ask the question why exactly Didnt Presidential Governor Senate Congress debates Follow on Hammering Candidates The Thought questions forcing them to give a straight answer on the the issues that matter, I dont know what will. Why is gas taxed on the gallon. And not a fixed % on the total? Some say its not the president nor Govs job to educate the people.. Then I ask why even offer public school? sarcasm There are thousands and thousands of laws. Policies, Loop holes, Unspoken rules, deals, and agendas. There is no way we the people can truly educate ourselves on the big picture when its so many small components going on, that we arent aware of.. But what i do know is THE GOV IS OMITTING THE TRUTH.
