People dont seem to realize that there is a form of new age belief that sounds like its Christian but its not. And Christians have to learn its not what the individual says that you like that is truth, its what Gods word says that is truth. Salvation is not through a person it is through the Son of God. And that we will not be judged by what a certain person said but by the Word of God. Feel good sermons cater to the flesh. Putting God second as Victoria did by claiming we do what we do for ourselves and not God. Is denying Gods authority in our lives which means she is teaching rebellion. The Bible never says (God speaking): Do these things for yourselves to me it does not matter. it just makes me happy to see you happy. Nope, God never said that. Putting God on the back burner is also a form of humanism (man is god). New age is about dethroning God by putting man in a position where man is first. God is second. New age is also about teaching the love doctrines. That God would not do this or that because he loves us. And would you do that to your children? Even though the whole Bible disagrees with this people still buy into it. In a nut shell: Believing what someone says about God over what the Bible says about God = you are not worshiping the God of the Bible. Why? Because to go around the Bible is to make up your own god just how you like him to be. God is not like that. He does not conform to what we think he should be.
