People have been asking me to show them what I do, which has been tricky since its mostly quiet and more doing than talking. I help them with BEing the connection - guiding them in HOW to ask the questions, navigation of staying in the space even when there are other things going on, what questions will be helpful, etc. And then theres the healing work I do. Here is a very small glimpse into a session from yesterday. The first picture is of Fleet (dark horse) and Clyde. They are new to the herd and are learning to trust. Fleet is quite protective of Clyde since Clyde has 1 well working eye and he was just abandoned in a pasture. Nobody really knows where he came from. He just showed up with lots of scars and a bad eye. Fleet took him under his wing and now they are a pair. I helped them on trusting this is a safe place and did some healing work on Clydes eye (which isnt shown here). Im working with Soosie in the 3rd and 4th picture. She has a lump that appeared on her leg/lymph area that the vet believes to be cancerous. Yesterday she had even more swelling in the area. She is awesome and loved being worked on. I did hands on work, taught the person some of what I do and did some coaching along with it (pic 5). Its all related. Afterwards the swelling and the lump were visibly diminished and Soosie was putting weight on her leg and was willing to walk a little more. And the last picture shows the horses in a relaxed and state of bliss after all the healing work and connections that were made. They were all a part of the healing, and each got work done on them. After it all the middle horse, Bo (or as I like to think - Beau), picked up a piece of grass with leaves on it and gave it to me as a gift. He was quite sweet. And then, teaching me about relationships and how they are 2 way streets, he gently nudged me to feed it to him. He gave to me and I gave to him. Now you have a small glimpse into a session with animals. This is 1 of many I will have with this herd. While the work with animal communication and integrative healing is powerful, it still can often take more than 1 session. Any questions? Leave them below. ;)
