People have been freaking out about the two ebola patients being sent to the US and Im just sitting here pointing out that its legal to quarantine people in the U.S. if they have ebola. Its not going to spread. Its going to be contained in a hospital with the only people having access to the patient being doctors and other staff in full protective clothing. The reason its spreading so fast in Africa is due to a few factors that do NOT apply in the U.S. Oh, and lets not forget that locking an American citizen outside of the U.S. when they have a travel health insurance - essentially a piece of paper that says if they get sick, they can go back to the states to get proper treatment - is insanely stupid.
