People here in a certain church are now using the name of God, I AM, as a description of themselves. I AM saved. for example Instead of I am saved. I AM redeemed instead of I am redeemed. Kenneth Copeland says, When I read God saying He is the I AM in scripture, I say, I AM too, This theology is language found in New Age Christian cult teaching. Lucifer was cast out of heaven because he wanted to be like God. Satan convinced Eve she could be like God. And now these people are speaking this way. I made the remark that that was pretty close to blasphemy in that you as a human were taking upon yourself the name of God and the glory God said He would not share with any one. I was accused of harassment. I am the bad guy. The thing is, they wont open a bible and discuss these beliefs using scripture, along with general and theological common sense. They delete posts. I am told by some that they speak about me amongst themselves. Did you know he uses a different bible then we do? Did you know he was once Jewish? Did you know he teaches against what we believe? I find it all sadly comical. Jesus said, something like- if they wont receive you, dust off your boots and leave them to themselves. Yeah!
