People in Scotland are voting at this very moment on whether the country should stay in the UK or become an independent nation. Scotland has a 4,23 million ciitzens, and 97% of those eligibale to vote are registered. Compare that to Texas, which has over 26 million citizens, and only 72% of those eligible to vote are registered. Only 3.98% of those eligible to vote in Texas actually participated in the 2014 primary elections. It is a safe bet that the participation rate in Scotland will be much --much-- higher. This is a significant moment in history, and all of us should be monitoring it closely.
