People keep saying #IrishWater Ltd. will be privatised - youre forgetting - its a private limited company - you water is being privatised by virtue of the fact that Irish Water is Irish Water Limited - your water is being privatised under your noses. All thats left is for bits and pieces of it to be sold off and used as collateral when they go to the open markets at the end of 2016 to borrow money. Incidentally, the end of 2016 is when all your free allowances and other subventions finish and while were on free allowances - theyre not free - theyre being paid for by the taxpayer. Then at the end of 2016 the big boys and girls will come in - Veolia, Thames Water etc. - then well see Veolia Water Kerry, Thames Water Galway etc. The legislation covering Irish Water Ltd is wide open to being changed - at the moment all it needs is the ministers consent to sell off bits and pieces - and thats the plan - Irish Water Ltd. may never be sold lock, stock and barrel - but they can sell, or use as collateral, bits of their assets - their assets being our water and water infrastructure.
