People like myself cant get into Jerusalem, because Im Palestinian - TopicsExpress

People like myself cant get into Jerusalem, because Im Palestinian and not Jewish. Israeli democracy wooooohooooo! Even though Ahmad N Abuznaid grew up already displaced from the country (Palestine) in which he and his family are indigenous to; he came to the U.S. b/c indigenous people in Palestine were forced to go somewhere else or go to horrific refugee camps. So he grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL with as mainstream a life as any of us have here, loving football as a big Niners fan, was an excellent high school player at Fort Lauderdale H.S., and went on to attend and graduate from law school in my hometown of Jacksonville, at Florida Coastal School of Law. So why are people like Ahmad denied the right to visit their home, sadly most of the time what was their familys home, across the board (if you are Palestinian), while Israelis whose home is definitely not the United States can come here and be welcomed enthusiastically? Israelis indeed should be welcomed here enthusiastically, but in the same fashion as others, not with an inherent privilege over people like Ahmad arbitrarily based on ethnicity/nationality! We Americans can also visit Israel and be welcomed with open arms, but according to Israeli laws Ahmad, his father Ambassador Dr. Abuznaid (PLO Ambassador to the Netherlands), Rayah Abulaban, and anyone (even Americans now too as they are) unfortunate enough to have to use their Palestinian passports in Israel (as they have to do being Palestinian); can be denied the right to enter the only land in which their ancestors have lived for so many hundreds, and in all likelihood thousands of years? Tell me how under any legal construing of what justice is and isnt, can anyone argue that the aforementioned dynamic described in this passage, and in the New York Times piece isnt grossly unjust? Furthermore, also something that any self-respecting person wouldnt be outraged by, especially if its not just some random TSA jerk; however instead the official government policy to treat an entire indigenous group of people in such an undignified and grossly unjust manner???
