People may not realise that the “Federation” in the Malaysia - TopicsExpress

People may not realise that the “Federation” in the Malaysia Constitution does not mean the Malaysia Federation – instead it means the Federation which was established in 1957. This means The so called Federation of Malaysia does not include Sabah and Sarawak – so is there an issue of secession? Obviously not Sabah and Sarawak is already outside of the Federation. SSo what Arnold is saying is pointless. In addition – Cobbold did not recommend the secession clause, similarly Lord Lansdowne in the Inter-Governmental Committee Report but when asked by the Times his reply was “States which voluntarily form a Union has the intrinsic right to leave the Union, therefore it is not required to include it in the Constitution” – So is it seditious to bring up the issue? The issue should not arise if Sabah and Sarawak is not discriminated, marginalised and disenfranchised. Yet even when we have abundant natural resource and the biggest exporter of Crude Palm Oil – The World Bank still catogerised us as having the highest poor. After 51 years please stop blaming the local leadership – it is not the local leadership to blame – it is the Elite at Putrajaya. Sabah and Sarawak was robbed of our Oil and Gas using the State of Emergency since 15 May 1969 – it was only in 2011 by the Grace of Allah Najib made a mistake in lifting the State of Emergency – so Sabah and Sarawak got their Continental Shelf and their Oil and Gas back. But the Elites knowing they made a mistake table and pass Act 750 in Parliament which contravene Article 76 of the Malaysia Constitution. We are calling the Oil and Gas producing states to reject Act 750. They may be doing even as we speak. The Sabah and Sarawak problem is far from simple – wrongly handled they may rip Malaysia wide open – As Dato Husam Musa says Malaysia Terburai.
