People, mostly #Arabs, have been asking me about how can they help / what can they do regarding the atrocities that are happening in #Palestine by the #Israelis. I hope the below simple steps will help clarify it: We all know that the #US, the #UK, and #Israel are far stronger than us (Arabs) #media wise. Their media is controlling what the world sees and knows. But, we have a stronger power in our hands which we are not using properly. We have social media. We can reach every single person in the world if we use it properly and in the right way. Lets enlighten the world about what is happening. Lets show the world the right from wrong. 1- Whenever posting any articles or pictures on #Facebook, please make sure to include (in the original post, not in the comment area, the hashtags: #WorldCup #GazaUnderAttack #GazaUnderFire #WorldCup2014 #Gaza #فلسطين #غزة_تحت_القصف #غزة_تقاوم #فلسطين_تحت_القصف #غزة You might ask yourself why all those hashtags. 1- we need to reach Arab and Non Arab audiences. 2- At present, the whole world is watching the World Cup and talking about it on social media. We need to penetrate this clutter and hence why including the World Cup hashtags. 3- Some of those hashtags have already become trending topics, which means alot of people using them already. 2- If you need to search for updated information on social media (Facebook or #Twitter), just type any of the above mentioned hashtags (one hashtag at a time) and you will get a full stream of info, pictures, and videos. 3- Please refrain from discussing politics or religion or commenting on those. This is how they will get you confused and steered away from your mission. They will try to drag you in side discussions in order to deter you from what you are doing. 4- Check what the foreign media is reporting (take pictures of their news on your TV) and compare it to reality from what Palestine TV channel is reporting. This is the only way we can show the difference in a transparent way.
