People not in the film industry ask why Forgotten Bayou is - TopicsExpress

People not in the film industry ask why Forgotten Bayou is conducting fundraising campaigns, and this is a fair question. This will be a feature film, about 80 minutes long and like every single film produced, looks for investors or in our case, sponsors. Our budget is not in the millions but we do have a substantial budget. This is not unusual for films, in fact it is the norm. We put together an amazing and talented team experienced with not only documentaries like Ole War Skule and many award winning PBS documentaries, but also feature films including 12 Years a Slave, The Incredibles, Benjamin Buttons to name just a few. Our composer has even won an Emmy. Check out our website and read our bios: forgottenbayou We wanted the best team to tell this story and also show the beauty of Louisiana. This story, though complex is about a Louisiana community told by mostly Louisiana filmmakers who live in Louisiana. LPB (Louisiana Public Broadcasting) issued Forgotten Bayou a Letter of Intent and NOVAC has taken us under their wing as our fiscal sponsor. We are a non-profit with lots of credibility and experience. If you would like to be a part of a major film, that is simply wonderful and we cant thank you enough. And if youre not able to, sharing and getting the word out is greatly appreciated as well. Should you have any questions or want a private conversation with the filmmakers, feel free to leave a private message on Facebook or send an email to Victoria@forgottenbayou Thank you for your support.
