People of Australia. I really hope that you personally know (unlike the prime minister) that we have the oldest surviving culture in the world! (Is it just me? I think this is totally brilliant and something we should celebrate!) There was over 500 nations and over 700 languages in existence before 1788 with tribes living across the ENTIRE COUNTRY... its just wrong to state in this day and age that Australia was unsettled before European colonisation. Our leader might be a dumb wit, but you do not have to be. If you havent seen an original map of Australia, click this link because it is a beautiful thing to experience. I can also think of other phrases to describe convicts coming over here other than “foreign investment”.
