People of Mackinac File: If you attended school on the Island from 1972 until now, these two dont really need an introduction. On the left is Mr. Jack Dehring, originally from Baroda, MI, he took a teaching job on Mackinac in 1972 and retired in 2006. Mr. Dehring now serves on the Board of Education. Mrs. Susan Bennett (nee Vojtko) originally from Bangor, MI took the job as the Math Teacher in 1985 and still teaches at MIPS. Two totally dedicated individuals who have been inspirations to many Mackinac High School Alums. I lucky to be in the right place at the right time to catch this picture two days ago in the hallway at MIPS.
