Here is my simple explanation to the article and EO in question: #1: Obama cant single-handedly ban any guns. The only entity who has control over the interpretation of the 2nd Amendment is the United States Supreme Court. Why? Because they have already ruled upon the matter. All laws shall be subject to that ruling unless the court overturns the earlier precedent. #2: What Executive Order 13662 does is designate Kalashnikov Concern (As well as other companies originating in Russia, such as Gazprom), the makers of the AK-47, and other models of gun, Specially Designated Nationals (SDN), meaning they are limited to trade agreements that are in place between U.S. and Russia, even if the business that comes in to the United States might originate from a plant or subsidiary of the company outside Russian borders. #3: I cant stress this enough: Dont believe everything that gets posted to some blog site. Research it yourself. Take the small time out of your day and form your own words and thoughts about the subject, thats the charge you have of living in a place where most information is virtually at your fingertips.
