People often ask me who inspires me? There are many but I was lucky enough to meet Jeremy Gilley a few years ago and I dont think anyone has impacted on me more than this man. To have the courage to set a goal that is frankly bigger than most of us could even dream of - and then have the passion and perseverance to follow it through, keep going when it wasnt working and now to be achieving the amazing results that Peace One Day does should be an inspiration to us all - not least because Im fairly sure that whatever any of us may at times be struggling to achieve is a fraction of what he is doing - if someone can set as crazy a goal as to achieve world peace for at least on day - today, the 21st of September - and then actually be achieving it shows us all that with passion and perseverance anything really is possible! Awareness is more important than funds to this cause as this is what helps the negotiation with warlords and governments.
