People often ask me why I have such a problem with old cars and folk who buy their kids Citi Golfs and Tazzes in this day and age. Or why buying that big old barge because it is safe is a lot of crap. Well heres a pretty good demonstration why. Remember also that safety has redoubled again in the 5 years since the 2009 Chevy here was crashed, so the 59 would be in even more trouble - even if it was hit by a small car - a Fiat 500 or even a Smart or similar, the results will be the same. That old cars are strong or they dont build them like they used to is a fallacy. When you buy a new car buys a 5 star safe car. And show anyone who areges this.
