People often come to me with a weight loss or physique goal....when they receive the plan to reach their physique goals they self modify and basically continue to eat how they always have but expect the results to be different...I have 2 fundamental problems with this and its NOT that they didnt follow my plan.... First, weight loss and physique goals are not usually compelling enough goals unless you have a health issue or exact event like a wedding or competition with a date set in concrete. This is because diets dont work they are temporary. Second, and more importantly the problem is not with your weight or your physique the problem is with your brain. You clearly love the way you eat and that is ok. What you dont love is yourself. You dont need a diet you need to learn to love yourself.... Goals and lifestyles must be synergistic, one can not be more compelling then the other....
