People often wonder how I ended up as a psychiatrist. I was destined for greater heights in Obstetrics and Gynaecology under the tutelage of the highly esteemed Dr Bronwyn Moore, whos reference gained me acceptance in the UK as a doctor. I had performed so many miracles, particularly in Obstetrics by being that doctor that managed difficult deliveries in the Labour ward. When I approached Bronwyn, to tell her of my departure from Obstetrics, I said: Bronwyn, my best friend, Nongi Oliphant has such dire psychiatric issues, I have to become a Psychiatrist to save her. After all, her sanity is crucial to my survival in life. She is so deranged, she will need a special psychiatrist to sort out her dire shortcomings, and thats me. I am leaving Obs for Psychiatry to save my friends life
