People pay us compliments that activate our wildest hopes and dreams. Last night after our performance at El Patio house of music, a woman who had been attentive all night wanted to chat. Carla traveled with her cat in a bag, was from Venice, Italy, had come to Isla for 30 years, and now was disappointed in its current crowded gringo-filled state. Too much cement She praised us and said we should be in Europe where people appreciated our music and would happily hire us. We replied wed always wanted to travel and perform, were free to do so, but find it hard to get booked being unfamiliar with appropriate venues in every city. Also that we hoped to hook up with an agent who would help us find work that paid enough for the expenses of travel, lodging and food. She took our card, asked many questions and said she would talk to her actor brother. Stephano works in London, France, Italy, Switzerland, all over Europe and shed tell him to find us such an agent. She also offered that Stephanos good friends Brad Pitt and George Clooney might be helpful. We should watch for emails. Dare we...if only...gosh...sigh...fun to wish, hey?
