People protest fuel price hike KANPUR: Yet another hike in the price of petrol and diesel had left the people fuming on Thursday. This was the second time in past 15 days that the prices of the petrol were increased. The members of Akhil Bhartiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal on Thursday burnt the posters of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at Ghantaghar to protest against the petrol price hike. Gyanesh Mishra of the mandal said that the due to wrong polices of the Prime Minister, who is a renowned economist, the value of rupee has fallen over in comparison to US dollar.
