People rushing to marry please stop long enough to realize this is more than a good feeling and making a point. Marriage is more than a commitment before God. Marriage is a LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT that says, What is yours is mine and whats mine is yours. There is no seperation in the law of his/hers/mine. Houses, 401K, stocks and bonds now become property of this union. Marriage does not make room for serial monogamy or self-exploration with others....just because I felt like it! Marriage is, at its best done for a lifetime with one person, learning and growing old together. As much as we celebrate marriage we should equally fear divorce...the failure of marriage. I am extremely happy and PROUD today yet, I am also a little nervous. I want my LGBT brothers and sisters to WIN on ALL sides as we pursue the exercising of our newly recognized God given rights and privileges. ~Unity @ ALL Cost~
