People say that the ALP is run by “faceless men” and not the members but now the ALP has announced this rule to make sure the elected PM serve the full term and that members get a say and so what does the media say, they say it’s a lie and s scam! So on one hand we have the media saying that the ALP should be for its members and the voting public but then when the ALP wants to make it so, the media bashes that idea. To blame Kevin Rudd or Julia Gillard to taking away the PM, if it was not Julia it would have been someone else and same for Kevin. This is a great reform and rule and should be done and supported by the media and public because the “media & public” have been crying about democracy and members and so on.
