People say this was a horrible event. I remember one conversation from high school in which we were asked to debate the pros and cons, ethics etc of dropping a bomb on Hiroshima....imagine debating in high school...many felt it was wrong to drop a bomb killing innocents, others felt it was right if it caused Japan to give up and that many more lives would be saved even if some died. World War II was a defined war...we knew the enemies, we knew the countries and we understood the goal of the war. In these new asymmetric wars, we do not know who or what we fight. It is hard to get behind a war like this as there are no ethics, no borders only people who want to kill everyone who does not believe as they do. My God is not a God of vengeance, deceit, lies and illusions..he is one who does not subscribe to evil means of living for our short stay on earth. If we are the next Hiroshima, then so be it...I am ready...Id rather be free.
