People seem stressed that in America you can have a “travel ban” in which a $500 fine or jail time could be implemented. Well, I have NO SYMPATHY for anyone in this state. This is another example of “lockdown” culture. Charlie Baker (who’s Republican party has done nothing but blame the Democrats for ripping apart the constitution) has now forced you all to stay inside within the first weeks of being in office. As I have said before, there is no conspiracy here & I truly believe that Charlie & the rest of our leaders mean well & want us to be safe. The problem is simply that we all now as a people (leaders & citizens), have become accustomed to “lockdowns”, entire blocks being shut down over a car accident, not being able to enter your own street because there is a fire 12 houses down, & searches of houses with no warrants when a criminal is on the loose. I’m not posting this to debate it or question the decisions made to keep us safe. My only goal is to explain to you all that this is what you asked for, this is how it is now, & this is what life will be like in the post Columbine era of instant panic. Everybody who lives here knows not to drive in this weather. We don’t need to be threatened with a punishment. Anyone who is out on the road probably has a very good reason for it. I’ll be speaking in Maine, New York & Illinois this winter & Spring. I’ll keep you all updated.
