People seem to be giving Thanksgiving a lot more attention these days than Christmas. I feel as if it is rapidly becoming a sort of anti-Christmas. It would certainly fall within secular humanist groupthink. Rather than celebrate the birth of Christ, someone might rather be thankful for the things they have and how...great they are. Isnt man becoming God the sign of the AntiChrist? it is the polar opposite of God becoming man (Christ). If I were the Devil, I would make Christmas a contest of being hot and stimulating, and its symbol a present from they to thou. Within just a few decades, the point of Christmas might change from giving (selflessness) to receiving (selfishness).
