People should not be making a big deal about whether IK slept with - TopicsExpress

People should not be making a big deal about whether IK slept with his supporters (slept means slept here... no other meaning intended) all night in the open or not. This is not a competition of whether the leader can bear the most hardships. For whom this matters IK has shown time and time again that he is able to do this while all other leaders lead the Jalsas in luxury. Instead the focus should be on whether IK making valid demands or not. Although I still back PTI as I believe, they are the only sane choice we have. To IK’s demands, I fully support IKs demand for revolutionizing the system to ensure that the next elections are fair. This makes common sense... how democracy can even have a shot at working if the party/individual in power is not the one people voted for. If democracy is to succeed this needs to be fixed. I however, do not support IKs demand for asking NS to step down. Once again if democracy is to succeed then the elected in office should be allowed to spend their full 5 years in office. This will ensure that if they do well... people will continue to vote for them. If they do not do well then the people will shun them aside in the next elections (and hopefully remember their performance in the elections that follow even later). PPP is a great example of this... they got shunned aside based on how they did while in office for 5 years. If NS resigns now then the people of Pakistan would not have seen his full 5 year performance and might continue to vote for him thinking that had he had his full 5 years he would have made a difference. On top he will also get the sympathy vote where the switchers might vote for him thinking that he was unfairly ousted out of the government.
