People still like to portray students as silly for taking out these loans but for a lot of students working over 20 hours a week wont cover the cost of living so going to a payday lender is the only option. Im really proud of the work UWESU has done so far to make a stand against payday lenders and lobbying university management for more funding but we need to do more and nationally the government needs to pay attention to the fact that students are struggling and stop cutting the financial support available! Rant over :P
