People strongly defending Castes and Classes as social identity, favoring the marriages and societies running on caste lines and speaking against the reservation at the same time for right to equality and opportunity,,,. Hasn’t the constitutional motive behind the reservation been equity only? …… Do these people ever try to see the historical linear relationship of status of Classes and castes and their status on Socio Economic front? …. about the rationale behind constitutional provisions for repealing the practice of untouchability? ….. About the constitutional values like socialism and secularism?…… Anyway on the contrary too… Have we ever thought that why the politics pitches for the classism and reservation? ……… And about the fact about the extent of equity that has been brought by the reservation system and caste based politics?…and by our voting on the class, castes and sub-caste lines….? Now Political parties have started questioning the ambit of SC for the recent verdict on banning caste based rallies and accusing the Judiciary for encroachment based on distribution of Power to the organs under the Constitution… Do they remember that our constitution promotes Secularism, not the Communalism ? …. Do they remember the reinforcing relation between the castes/ classism, Communalism and Corruption ? ………..
