People talk of multitasking... So let me share the experience of a golgappe/panipuri wala. I was about to enjoy a round of panipuri [about a year back] when a bunch of 5 people came and besieged the golgappewala from a side... It consisted of four ladies in their fifties and sixties [perhaps] and one kid. So one of them said... Bhaiya gol gappe dalo completely ignoring my presence... But amazement was still waiting for me... she said, Inko or inko suji, mereko or inki ata aur bachhe to suji... hold on... she continued, ammaji likes more meetha, ye dono ke liye slightly more teekha... and for me its normal... she paused. And then resumed... aur chotu ke liye pani nahin.. gale me atak jata hain... But believe me the golgappewala did not faint... He took a deep breath and looked at me... I thought - may be its enough of an ordeal for the poor guy.. I shelved off the idea of having golgappe that day... I just wondered... had I been a golgappewala.. I would have surrendered my whole paraphernalia to them... and politely said Bhai khud-i banalo...ho jaye to bata dena... :)
