People think the answer is to take God out of school because it may offend other religious and non religious students, but why not provide a neutral and open minded atmosphere for ALL religions and beliefs (Hinduism, Sunni Islam, Spiritualism, voodoo, neo-paganism, etc) so children can be exposed to and taught about the many religions, cultures and denominations life has to offer. Turn questions about God and religion into a positive lesson because after all, children are in school to LEARN right? And why not learn about the child sitting next to them so they can become peaceful, understanding and tolerant instead of fearful and ignorant towards their supposed differences. In this lesson the children become the teachers and I think they have more to gain from knowing their neighbor than trying to ignore them and take them out of school entirely.
