People typically don’t respond to what is Self-evident. What I - TopicsExpress

People typically don’t respond to what is Self-evident. What I mean by Self-evident is what your true Self knows. You experience it by turning to what is real in your deep feelings and what you know is true in your gut. Its an awareness and tacit understanding deep within you. People dont respond to this. Instead, they respond to what they are told. This is because most people follow an authority-based mentality when it comes to believing something. You’ve been told that what’s inside of you can’t be trusted, and therefore you should trust somebody else. There’s no logic to this. If you can’t trust what is inside of you, why would you trust what’s inside someone else? There is no difference. Jesus continually challenged people to have belief and faith in the voice of Truth inside themselves. Some of Jesus’ closest followers became so attached to him that they ran the risk of never making this transition. When Jesus spoke of going away, they became fearful and fatalistic. Time and time again Jesus emphasized the significance of him going away so people would shift their dependency from the personality or personhood of Jesus and turn to that same Self or Spirit that was also in them. In many quarters, organized Christianity still today has never made this transition. They constructed a religion around memorializing and worshiping the personality of Jesus of Nazareth, an effort Jesus repeatedly renounced. They have never embraced the Truth and reality that lies within them. #inneranarchy
