People want to discuss the horror of this war and that war...they want to know which "side" we are on. Let me make this clear....I am on no side. I have seen up close and personal what happens to a human being when they are exposed to war. I have seen the destruction of a human heart and soul. I do not even pretend to understand what is going on right now thousands of miles and worlds away from where I am. I am on the side of peace...of kindness...of love. That is ALL I understand. I am a simple minded person who has never traveled the world...I have stomped around this little town all my life...and even here...I have seen what hate and evil hearts are capable of. I will not be drawn into the debate...I will continue to be simple...to long for peace...I will forever look to the heavens in hope and blind faith. I know that is foolish to most...but that is me. All I can do is try and make the space around me and mine as comfortable and serene as is possible. It is far beyond my power to control the world...if I were in control...all of your worries would be laid to rest this very night... all creatures great and small would sleep and wake in perfect peace. War would be no more...hunger and pain would be a distant memory...I am simple...and I simply refuse to be anything else. "There will be wars...and rumors of wars...let your heart be not troubled...if you believe in God...believe also in me" End of story...
