People who disagree with me on the things Im super vocal about have long since stopped showing up in my news feed. Not people who disagree with me on politics or economics or some other things, but the ones who say the actual flat out ignorant and offensive stuff are long gone. So that may be why Im not seeing a lot of the suicide is selfish comments or the insensitive ways people are talking to Zelda Williams like others are. And that may be why any conversation Ive seen about Ferguson has been largely the right kind of outrage. Maybe Ive just culled the bad ones out of my life pretty successfully. But I like to think, or at the least hope, that its actually small evidence that people are largely getting more intelligent and caring. That Im not seeing the negativity as much as I used to because its more and more becoming a (still dangerous and not to be ignored) minority of the world.
