People who engage in faulty thinking dont like to hear it. And they like even less to acknowledge that they were wrong. But to egnore a kindness, to not thank someone for a gift is...rude. I taught my children to be greatful and to express that gratitude to those who give them gifts, especially if a good deal of time and skill went into making it. They can tell you those kinds of gifts are few and far between. So....people like me have a choice: walk away lesson learned. Or continue to be joyful givers knowing that there are those who could care less. I choose to do the latter but I will choose whom and when. And the ungreatful? Who cares, not my concern. I walk away.
