People who know things about renting and property, how would you interpret this email? ME: I understand our building is on the market. How will this affect us moving forward? Ill want to keep the lines of communication open through this transition. Property Manager: I do not think the sale will effect your ability to continue renting the property. It is important to keep your rent paid on time, in its entirety, during this time. Any future buyer will be studying rental history prior to purchase. This is why it is important to be current. I am sure the owner of the property is asking market rate for the property. It could be some time before the property is sold. I would not be concerned. Its the last part that bothers me most. When people who dont have my best interest in mind say dont worry.
