People with mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression are more likely to have tried e-cigarettes than those without such issues, according to new research. A team at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine questioned 10,041 people and found that 14.8 per cent of individuals with mental health conditions had tried e-cigarettes and 3.1 per cent were currently using them, compared to 6.6 per cent and 1.1 per cent without mental health conditions respectively. They were also more likely to try the nicotine-containing products in the future. More here
