People with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) have the distinction of being made the most fun of among those with clinical disorders ... and not for nothing. I have OCD and I still think its pretty funny when other people exhibit telling symptoms. Famous people who suffered/suffer from OCD include Nikola Tesla, Charles Darwin, Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill, Woody Allen, Howard Hughes, Donald Trump, Marcel Proust, Charlize Theron, Kathie Lee Gifford, Fred Durst, Cameron Diaz, Winona Ryder, Charles Dickens, Michael Jackson, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Warren Zevon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Albert Einstein, Michelangelo, David Beckham, Fiona Apple, Justin Timberlake, Joey Ramone, Stanley Kubrick, Cole Porter, Thomas Stonewall Jackson, Penelope Cruz, Howard Stern and Harrison Ford. Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz seem to be obsessed with other OCD sufferers, as they dated and both worked with Martin Scorsese--at least five times in DiCaprios case. Scorsese and DiCaprio also made The Aviator, a definitive biopic of the enigmatic Howard Hughes. Hughes was the womanizing aviation pioneer, engineer, founder of TWA and Hughes Aircraft, casino magnate, philanthropist and himself a standout filmmaker--Hells Angels was the first blockbuster of the talkies era--who suffered from severe OCD throughout his own life. Scorsese, perhaps emblematic of an obsession with familiarity, has a history of working with the same lead actors over and over again. In addition to DiCaprio, hes collaborated with Robert DeNiro and Harvey Keitel both numerous times, over the course of many decades.
