Pepis Refuge is run by Jane Jane Brian and her husband, Alan. They retired to Spain around 10 years ago. Little did they know they know just how their lives were going to change. One morning they found a Galgo which had been hung from one of their trees. This was their introduction to the cruelty that exists on Spain and the plight of the Spanish Greyhound. Ten years on, they now share their lives with around 90 dogs, all if which have been abandoned , tied up at the gates, thrown over the fence, handed over by their owners or just found on the road. Theres no shortage of stray and abandoned dogs in Spain . The auction is to raise the funds to pay the vet bill which is a whopping €3,500 ... !! Please take a look at the items, theres some lovely things and its all going towards a really good cause .
