Pequea Township Crashes 300 Blk. Marticville Rd. (Rt. 324) – two vehicle crash with injuries – 8/30/13 at 1146 PM: William Sprecher, 57, from the 500 Blk. of Bridge Valley Rd. in Pequea was operating a 1969 Harley Davidson motorcycle south bound on Marticville Rd. Jessia Ebersole, 30, of the 2100 Blk. of New Danville Pk. was operating a 1998 Jeep Wrangler north bound and crossed into the south bound lane striking Sprecher’s motorcycle. Ebersole’s vehicle then overturned. Sprecher suffered serious injuries, Ebesole was not injured. The roadway was closed for several hours during the on-scene investigation. The investigation is ongoing with charges expected. The Southern Regional Police Department was assisted on the scene by volunteers from the West Willow and New Danville Fire Companies. 2100 Blk. New Danville Pk. – Single vehicle crash – 9/1/13 at 1215 AM: Clarence Lefever, 47, from the 2100 Blk. of New Danville Pk. was injured when he crashed his 1980 Kawasaki Motorcyle. The accident remains under investigation. 1200 Blk. Millwood Rd - Single vehicle crash - 8/24/13 at 1115 AM : Eric Breeden, 18, from Ashbourne Ave, in Lancaster, was operating a 2005 Kia Sportage north bound on Millwood Rd. Breeden’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Breeden suffered minor injuries. Breeden stated he was utilizing his hand held cell phone for GPS purposes at the time of the crash. He was cited for Careless Driving.
