Per Jericho Petilla just now through the program in DZMM of Atty Claire: 1. The airport in San Jose is flooded and no aircraft can land. Going to Leyte will require landing someplace else. 2. Passing through towns is not possible due to debris and floods. People are trapped in their own places. 3. He can contact Catbalogan, Southern Leyte but He cant contact Leyte and Biliran. 4. Total communications is out in the whole province of Leyte. 5. Tacloban is still flooded, as well as, Palo. This could mean Tanauan is no different but lets hope for the best. 6. He is going to Leyte tomorrow. 7. The area of Mcdonalds in Tacloban is flooded 10-ft high. 8. Possible restoration of communication is tomorrow but no one cant give any assurance since it is very hard to move around. 9. Help is needed - food, restoration of housing, galvanized iron for roofing. I hope this serves as our call for action. God bless your generous hearts!
