Per Tylers Mom...Susan Foster Tyler lost a few more pounds since weve been home, but when he weighed last night he has gained two pounds!! His temperature has been going up slightly and is now 99.5. Praying it stays under 100.4 so we can stay home for Christmas! Home health comes twice a week and since Tyler has a port this time instead of a broviac, which thats what Tyler wanted this time around, he has to get stuck each time for blood. They wont access his port unless its for more than a days use, like a stay in the hospital and/or chemo. It risks an infection each time its accessed. Hes been getting his shots of Neupogen each night since weve been home. With previous chemos we wait until ANC goes down before he receives shots, but with these chemos he cant wait for it to go down. We have to stay on top of it so it doesnt get too far out of control.
