Pere Marquette Sub District Scouters- I am working the Rotary youth exchange program. If you have eligible Scouts interested, please encourage them to attend the informational meeting on Wednesday, Oct 2nd. There will be an informational meeting at Marquette High School on Wednesday, October 2nd at 12:07 (lunch time) in Room 110. This is followed by an interview by RYE officers. Applicants must attend a District Conference October 18-20 in Wausau with a parent(s), so time is of the essence. I not attending MHS, contact me at 906 361-9651. The Rotary Youth Exchange program is open to high school students, or those who have just graduated, between the ages of 15 and 18½ on departure (As of August 15 in the year of departure). It does not matter whether your parents are members of a Rotary Club - the program is open to children of Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike. Exchange student candidates must be outgoing, self-confident, friendly, adaptable, and adventurous, willing to learn a foreign language, with above average grades in school.
